What is meant by the term 21st Century Skills? The following Word document gives a brief definition of what students will need to be able to do for success in this rapidly changing world of ours.
This is from the US Department of Health and Human Services. It contains games, flash movies, and information about bullying and how to prevent it. This is a great resource for kids, parents, and teachers!
This site contains a wealth of skill building practice activities in Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies. It also contains an assessment component so children can be exposed to some practice tests!
This site from Steve Pacha contains a wealth of information in the Language Arts area. He has entire books available online with tips for reading, writing, assessing, etc. It is an excellent site to note!
This is a great site for teachers who want to create rubrics for project based lessons, but do not want to reinvent the wheel. It's a great time saver and you can save rubrics for the future as well.
